Tree Flags is rooted in celebration and worship. It can be either book or outdoor installation. While not a traditional book in terms of materials, structure, or text, the "pages" are a collection of tone poems, linked by meditative intention like a book of hours. The panels speak of the joy found in every element of the tree. When installed among trees, it resembles prayer flags or party flags or when displayed in its case, each panel or “page” can be viewed individually as a small shrine that honors some element of the gift of trees.

Materials: The 32 flag/pages are composed of various fabrics decorated, printed, and embellished with collages of buttons, thread and ribbon. Each flag/page is threaded with ribbon or string and can be combine to hang for display. The collection is housed in a binder's board box covered with book cloth with a string and button closure that can be used as a standing display.
